When the promise applies
Credential Hub will refund 100% of its professional service fee when all of the following apply:
- Credential Hub reviewed and formally accepted the case before the application work began.
- The client paid the agreed professional service fee and all required external charges.
- The application was managed within the agreed written scope.
- The relevant authority or verification provider issued a final rejection, or Credential Hub confirms that the accepted application cannot reasonably proceed.
- The client supplied authentic, accurate and complete information and documents.
- The client responded to requests, provided documents and paid external charges within the required time.
- The client followed official requirements and the reasonable written instructions provided for the case.
When the promise does not apply
The Service-Fee Refund Promise does not apply when:
- The client withdraws, changes their mind or asks to stop the service.
- The client provides false, altered, forged, incomplete or misleading information or documents.
- The client fails to provide documents, responses, approvals or external payments within the required time.
- The client does not follow instructions, misses a deadline or independently changes the application without informing Credential Hub.
- The service scope changes after acceptance, or a new application is required for a different purpose, authority, profession or qualification.
- The application is delayed, pending, placed on hold or requires further evidence but has not received a final rejection.
- A government, authority or third-party fee is non-refundable under that organisation's policy.
Refund scope and method
Refunds cover only the professional service fee charged by Credential Hub for the rejected or non-proceeding application. External fees and costs already paid are excluded. The client must provide the final rejection or closure notice where one is available. Refunds are processed through the original or another verified payment method after eligibility is confirmed.
